Your new company

12-month initial contract for a Senior Project Manager to join a large-scale enterprise transformation program within a well-established financial services organisation. This is a high-visibility initiative focused on upgrading core ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA, with a renewed delivery team and strong executive backing.

Your new role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead the business-side delivery of the SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrade, specifically focused on the finance stream. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and the systems integrator (SI) to ensure deliverables are met, scope is clearly defined, and outcomes are achieved. This is a second attempt at the upgrade, following a previous team's unsuccessful delivery, so strong leadership and stakeholder engagement are critical. Responsibilities include;

  • Drive the SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrade from a business perspective
  • Manage internal deliverables and coordinate with the SI
  • Influence and communicate effectively across business and technical teams
  • Support scope definition and planning activities
  • Contribute to team growth and program momentum

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA upgrades
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to influence outcomes and manage internal alignment
  • Technical understanding of SAP is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in financial services is a plus, but not required
