JLC Associates is a boutique Chartered Accounting Practice located in Subiaco, WA. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our accounting team. About the Role

As an Accountant, your tasks will include:

  • Assisting with month-end reporting tasks
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Data entry including potential accounts payable and receivable management – generally as part of a month end / quarterly process
  • Preparation of ATO activity statements and payroll reporting
  • Financial Statement and Income Tax Return preparation for Individuals, Trusts & Companies
  • Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Annual Return preparation
  • General accounting and administrative support

About You

You are enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn. Essentially , you'll bring:

  • A degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Working towards completing CPA/CA qualification (preferred but not essential)
