About Us

Ciao Maggio's Bakery - is seeking a warm, energetic, detail-oriented, and organised individual to join our Front of House team.

We are more than just a bakery; we are a community hub, a daily ritual, and a proud family-run institution dedicated to great food, warm service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We take pride in every detail — from our pastry presentation to how we greet every customer.

The Role

We're looking for a Front of House team member. You'll be ensuring every customer feels welcome, every display looks perfect, and every process runs smoothly front end and back end from open to close.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has great attention to detail
  • Loves chatting with customers and building regular relationships
  • Takes pride in doing things right the first time — but checks twice
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Is keen to learn and grow into more senior roles as we expand

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example during service, ensuring smooth FOH operations
  • Greet and serve customers with warmth and efficiency
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house areas
  • Support with training and mentoring junior team members
  • Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-day reports
  • Ensure all FOH processes, from hygiene to presentation, are followed perfectly
  • Communicate effectively with the baking team to keep service seamless

About You

  • Prior experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • Reliable, proactive, and calm under pressure
  • A passion for great food and genuine hospitality
