About the Role:
We're looking for a Qualified Carpenter / Joiner to join our team and work on various door installation projects. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry work, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to a productive and efficient work environment. This role is perfect for you if you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy working on diverse door projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installation of knock down and pre-hung frames with doors in various residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Removal of old door frames
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards, safety regulations,
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe worksite
- Reading and assessing the scope of work at site visits before installation
- Assisting with material selection and measurements
- Confirming the scope of works with the customer at the measurement stage.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a qualified carpenter / Joiner with own tools
- Someone who has a passion for doors and has plenty of door experience
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and fitting doors
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch work
- Construction safety certification (e.g., White Card)
- A positive, can-do attitude with a team-oriented mindset
