We're looking for a passionate Chef/Cook to join our team full-time. Enjoy café hours and catering prep without late shifts — perfect for those wanting work–life balance and their weekends and evenings back, whilst still supported by a friendly team, crafting quality food in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast, lunch and carvery menu items including daily specials and comfort food favourites
  • Ensuring all food is presented attractively and in a timely manner
  • Prepare and serve food to a consistently high quality
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assisting with inventory management, prep, and ordering as needed
  • Designing and developing new menu items for both the café and catering menu to keep offerings fresh and exciting

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Cafe Cook or similar role in a hospitality /café environment is highly regarded
  • Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and plate presentation
  • A passion for consistently creating delicious and visually appealing meals
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic
  • Experience in effectively maintaining and managing the workspace
  • Organised, reliable, and confident in managing a busy kitchen
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience (or passion) in menu design, including creating new items and catering menus
  • Must have full working rights
