Production Operators

  • Ongoing Casual Role
  • Day shift hours, 6am to 2pm

  • Moorabbin location

The Company

This is an excellent opportunity to join our client who operates in more than 60 countries and territories around the world  Based in Moorabbin, they manufacture inks and coatings to the printing industries and focus on quality, support, training and service and are now embarking on expanding their production team.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring specifications are met through raw material selection, mixing, weighing, milling and quality control
  • High standards of housekeeping
  • Working in receiving and dispatch
  • Picking and packing batches from warehouse
  • Maintain inventory records and be a part of stocktakes, all following company procedures
  • Forklift operations - loading and unloading trucks and / or containers, performing daily safety checks
  • Adhering to safe work practices and quality systems

To be considered for this role you will possess the following:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Intermediate computer skills - data entry / SAP
  • Previous experience with chemicals and DG's - advantageous
  • Forklift licence - highly beneficial but not essential
  • Confident with manual handling
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player and reliable
  • Must pass full medical including drug and alcohol test

On Offer:

Day shift hours - Monday to Friday, 6.00am - 2.00pm

Competitive hourly rate plus overtime available
