With plans to upgrade our existing properties and newly onboarded properties, we're seeking a skilled technician to spearhead the deployment of our new Wi-Fi and ISP infrastructure.
The Role
As a Network Infrastructure Technician, you'll be pivotal in implementing TP-Link's Omada networking solutions across our properties. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring network equipment, ensuring seamless integration with our central management system, and overseeing ISP transitions to Superloop. This role is office and field-based, requiring visits to various properties to ensure optimal network performance and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

- Integrate each property's network into ShareSorted's central Omada SDN system for centralized management.
- Coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely and quality installations.
- Document network configurations, including site photos, MAC addresses, and setup details.
- Manage Superloop ISP transitions, including modem replacements and account setups.
- Maintain an inventory of networking hardware and tools.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot post-installation issues as needed.
- Collaborate with operations and property onboarding teams to schedule installations and address resident concerns.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Certificate III or IV in Information Technology, Networking, or Telecommunications (or equivalent experience) or Diploma of IT (Networking) or related field
- Proven experience in network setup and configuration, preferably with TP-Link Omada products (TP-Link Omada training or hands-on experience is preferred)
- Hands-on experience with network equipment installs (routers, APs, PoE switches)
- Strong understanding of SDN, Ethernet cabling, and Wi-Fi deployments.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to various property locations (fuel reimbursed; vehicle can be provided).
- TP-Link
Benefits
- Fuel reimbursement or provision of a company vehicle.
- Flexible working hours with autonomy in the field.
- Desk and dedicated computer provided.
- Supportive team and fast-moving company culture
- Work that directly impacts thousands of residents across Sydney
- Be part of a dynamic and growing property tech focused company.
