About the role

The Senior Manager, Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the department's digital landscape. This role focuses on managing robust frameworks, policies and procedures, aligned with Federal & State Government compliance frameworks and industry best practices. This includes identifying potential threats, vulnerabilities, risks and proactive measures to mitigate them effectively. The Senior Manager, Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance will closely engage with various stakeholders, including IT teams, senior management, legal services, audit and risk committees and schools to ensure that cyber initiatives effectively align with business objectives.

Qualifications

Essential: Nil.

Desirable: A qualification in Cyber Security; or previous experience working within a Governance, Risk and Compliance role. CISA, CISSP, CISM, COBIT
