Are you a passionate and dedicated ECT seeking an opportunity to work in a boutique childcare setting in the Mount Evelyn area? 

Position: Early Childhood Teacher 

Location: Mount Evelyn, VIC, 3796

Type:Full-Time, Permanent

Offering: Competitive Rates $44 - $53 per hour (based on qual and experience) 

Responsibilities: As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment for our young learners in the 3 - 4 year old room. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and discover.
  • Monitoring and recording each child's progress, development, and milestones, communicating regularly with parents or guardians.
  • Collaborating with a team of educators to design engaging activities, ensuring children's individual needs and interests are met.
  • Promoting health and safety practices within the preschool environment.
  • Building strong partnerships with families and fostering a sense of community within the service

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Hold a COMPLETED Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A VIT registration
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a long day care
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Experience with the school readiness program
  • Must have Full Working Rights, without restriction
