A well-know law firm in Melbourne's CBD are seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to support the Principal – Family Law to commence as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned legal PA to step into a fast-paced, high-powered environment and provide crucial support to a senior leader.
About the Role:
As the PA/EA, you will be the right hand to the Principal – Family Law, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This role demands a high level of organisation, efficiency, and resilience to keep up with a fast-moving and demanding environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- High-level calendar management – scheduling meetings, mediations, and court hearings
- Client liaison – communicating with clients in a professional manner
- Legal practice management system (Affinity) – opening files, saving documents/emails
- Dictation and transcription
- E-briefs and disclosure management
- Billing and invoicing
- Ensuring smooth workflow and managing competing priorities
This role requires someone who is extremely organised, proactive, and resilient, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 5 years' experience in Family Law
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced legal environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Thick-skinned, confident, and able to work under high pressure
- Experience using Affinity or similar legal practice management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
What's on Offer?
- Salary: $95,000 - $100,000 including super
