Data Migration Lead-18-month contract

Yamaha Motor Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Data Migration to join our team based in NSW, for fixed period 18-month contract.

As a Data Migration Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end data migration activities for the ERP transformation program, transitioning from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will ensure the successful extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation of business data, while driving data quality improvements and master data clean-up to support a smooth go-live and ongoing business efficiency.

About the Role:

» Develop and own the Data Migration Strategy and Plan.

» Lead the migration from AX to D365 F&O, including extraction, transformation, mapping, and loading of data.

» Coordinate with functional leads and SMEs.

» Oversee and guide data cleansing activities, working with business stakeholders.

» Support the business in master data clean-up.

» Establish and manage data migration testing cycles.

To be successful in the role, you will require:

» Proven experience managing data migration in ERP transformation programs, ideally in Microsoft Dynamics AX to D365 F&O projects

» Strong understanding of data structures and entities within AX and D365 F&O.

» Experience in master data management for finance, supply chain, and warehouse processes.

» Hands-on experience with data quality assessment and data cleansing initiatives

» Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

» Demonstrated experience in utilising Azure DevOps for data migration activities

» Experience in distribution, or logistics industries is desirable.
