As our highly experienced
Kitchenhand,
you'll be the helping hands and heart behind the scenes,
supporting our Centre Cook
to deliver nutritious, child-friendly meals every day. Whether you're prepping fresh ingredients, keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, or ensuring allergy-safe and hygienic practices are followed, your role is essential in creating a safe and welcoming food environment. You'll assist with preparing meals that reflect a variety of cultures and tastes, and when the Cook is away, you'll confidently step up to keep things running smoothly. Every task you do helps fuel happy, healthy children ready to learn, play, and grow

What You'll Need

  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Proven experience as a Childcare Cook
  • Certificate III in Cookery or similar qualifications
  • Current & Valid Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Experience in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
  • Experience in dietary and allergy safe requirements.
  • Certificate III in Children's Services would also be highly regarded
