About the role

Mid North Party Hire is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Event Labourer to join our team in Blyth, SA. As a Casual Event Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting the set-up, maintenance and breakdown of events across the Mid North region. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

  • Cleaning and preparing marquee vinyl
  • Assisting with the loading, unloading, set-up and pack-down of event equipment such as tables, chairs, marquees and staging
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment throughout events
  • Providing excellent customer service as required
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols
  • Collaborating with the wider event team to ensure a seamless event experience

What we're looking for

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in event set-up or a similar labouring role is desirable but not essential
