About the role
As the Enterprise Architect, you will work alongside other Enterprise Architects in the cluster, complementing their technical leadership.
Your responsibilities include contributing to and coordinating the definition and implementation of enterprise architectures and roadmaps. This involves creating a shared vision of the current and future state, as well as maximizing opportunities that extend across multiple business units within your domain cluster.
The Corporate Core domain cluster at Suncorp Group is responsible for HR, Finance, Legal, and Risk systems. These systems are critical to the company's operations. Specifically, they handle:
HR systems for employee management
Finance systems and financial services
Risk management services
Corporate legal services
To work in this domain, one should have experience in modern financial systems, a strong background in the financial services industry, and some knowledge of modern HCM platforms for HR. What you'll do
Maintain broad understanding of business and technology capabilities and initiatives across the group
Provide strategic perspective to group architecture
Ensure any architecturally significant changes to the technical landscape are reflected in the enterprise architecture repository
Actively initiate and contribute to the development of architecture standards, design patterns and technology roadmaps.Provide guidance and direction around technology impacts of proposed business initiatives
Evangelise enterprise architecture by demonstrating its value and promoting its effective use across the group
Ensure that solution architectures are consistent with domain and group architecture
Review technical solution designs completed by solution architects, ensuring they align with group architecture standards and the technology roadmaps of the concerned domains (Finance, HR, Legal and Risk)
Lead and contribute to the implementation, configuration, and management of modern platform-based Financial systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
Support the deployment and integration of modern HCM platforms for HR, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize system performance and user experience.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, or equivalent experience is essential.
Architectural certification (e.g.TOGAF or other)
Minimum 10 years IT experience
Minimum 5 years IT Enterprise Architecture experience expected
Knowledge and experience on cloud architecture is expected, covering SaaS and PaaS.
Familiarity with ArchiMate is expected
Experience with Oracle Fusion is highly desired
Experience with Agile & Lean methodologies desired
Consulting background is advantageous
Strong experience within the Financial services industry, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise architecture solutions for platform-based Financial systems is desired
Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience in the implementation, configuration, and management of modern Financial systems platforms.
Some experience and understanding of modern HCM platforms for HR, including their implementation, configuration, and management.
