We're seeking a proactive and highly organised Regional Coordinator to support our CEO and small team, ensure the smooth running of our office, and contribute to our events, communications and member activities.
About the Role
In this dynamic and varied role, you'll be at the centre of Business Hunter's operations. You will manage day-to-day administration, coordinate governance activities, support member engagement, and help deliver our busy events program, including the prestigious Hunter Regional Business Awards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient office management and administrative support to the Business Hunter team
- Process accounts payable/receivable, debtor management and financial transactions
- Support member queries, account management follow-ups and stakeholder communication
- Coordinate governance activities including Board and committee meetings, minutes and documentation
- Maintain accurate CRM and data systems, including membership and financial information
- Liaise with regional stakeholders, local chambers, MPs, government departments and partners
- Provide executive support to the CEO (diary management, travel, meeting organisation)
- Assist with event delivery: logistics, set-up, invoicing, judging liaison and correspondence
- Support marketing and communication activities including website updates, EDMs, social media and media coordination
- Work collaboratively across the team to deliver exceptional member experiences
- Undertake other duties as required
About You
You will bring:
- Strong office management or business administration experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High-level organisation, planning and multitasking capability
- A proactive approach with the ability to use sound judgment and work independently
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems
- Understanding of the Hunter business community (advantageous)
- Experience in events, governance, marketing or bookkeeping (desirable)
- A current driver's licence (essential)
