Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for restoring and upgrading commercial buildings? We're partnering with a national specialist contractor to deliver complex remediation projects across the Newcastle region and are looking for a driven PM to lead the charge.

Role: Project Manager

Location: Newcastle

Job type: Permanent

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 plus Super plus vehicle allowance DOE

The Role

You'll oversee a portfolio of building remediation works ranging from façade upgrades and passive fire compliance to structural and general asset refurbishment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being across the detail while keeping stakeholders aligned.

Duties:

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of remediation projects across commercial and public-sector assets
  • Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and consultants
  • Ensuring strong project documentation, reporting, and compliance
  • Working closely with clients, strata, engineers and internal teams
  • Monitoring budgets, schedules and quality standards
  • Driving safety, risk management and strong commercial outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing building remediation, upgrades, or refurbishment projects
  • Knowledge of commercial assets, defect rectification, or passive fire/structural repair (highly desirable)
  • Confident communicator who can build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong with paperwork, systems, and contract administration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and problem-solve on the fly
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
