About us

RNS TYRE AND AUTO SERVICE PTY LTD is one of the strongest growing companies in Victoria, located at Sunshine North offering vehicle repairing, RWC, logbook service to its customers. Hence, we need more qualified Motor Mechanic to join with us so that we can grow together. Currently we are looking to hire four full time Motor Mechanic to join our team. If you want to be a part of the future of the industry, value quality over quantity, constant sincerity to OH&S requirements and have a sense of adventure then this job is for you.

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum Certificate Ill in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Motor Mechanic.
  • Proactive team member
  • Strong communication skills

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
  • Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
  • Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
  • Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
  • Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
  • Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
  • Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
  • Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
