About the Organisation
This respected community organisation is a leading provider of programs and support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the greater Brisbane region. What began as a small grassroots initiative in the early 2000s has grown into a dynamic organisation delivering a wide range of government and community-funded programs focused on empowerment, education, cultural connection, and wellbeing.
Guided by strong cultural values, the organisation's mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities to reach their potential. Their work is underpinned by principles of personal growth, harmony, accountability, open communication, and teamwork.
With a commitment to collaboration and community leadership, the organisation continues to expand its services and partnerships, providing culturally grounded programs that strengthen identity, promote opportunity, and foster positive change for future generations.
All applicants are welcome – You don't need to identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to apply, though Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged. The organisation provides ongoing cultural learning and development, supporting all staff to work in a culturally safe and inclusive environment.
