About The Role
The role of the Administration Support Officer – Bookings & Admissions is to provide effective service delivery and on-site administrative support to the Endoscopy, Theatre and Day Procedures units responding to general customer enquiries, and providing timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff as outlined below, while following West Moreton Health's purposes and objectives.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Positive and effective customer service.
- Proficiency in the application of internal hospital information systems in addition to Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of basic medical terminology to extract and interpret pertinent information from patient medical records and hospital information systems
Mandatory Requirements
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
