Job Description

Our client is a leading company in the food service sector. They are currently looking for 30 Harvest Workers to work in their facility based in Werribee South, Victoria, with work commencing September 2025 onwards. In this role you will be working with in a field and shed environment.

You will be working in all types of weather including, cold, hot and wet weather, therefore must be able to deal with the different types of weather environments. You must be flexible to cover various shifts and weekend work as and when the need arises in order to support the team. You will be paid under the Agri Labour Australia Horticulture Agreement 2016 – Level 2 at an hourly rate of $30.13 per hour, with a minimum of 120 hours over a 4 week period.

This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 6-9 months of work with potential to upskill.

Key duties include:

  • Field - manual labour, picking, cutting, packing, sowing, planting, sorting, stacking, watering, cleaning of fresh food produce.
  • Use of tools such as knives Shed - manual labour, sorting, packing, bagging, wrapping, loading, unloading, cleaning of fresh food produce.

  • Strong and fit for manual labour
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Able to bend over for long period of time
  • Heavy lifting
  • Able to work weekends, public holidays
