About Us:

Romsey Veterinary Clinic, part of Apiam Animal Health, is a true mixed animal practice in the Macedon Ranges. We care for companion animals, livestock, and horses, offering a wide variety of cases and hands-on experience. Our clinic is well-equipped with modern diagnostics, surgery, and treatment facilities. About the Position:

We are looking for a part time veterinary nurse/receptionist to join our team. Approximately 25-30 hours per week.

We want a passionate nurse to implement their high standards of patient care and have the capability to fulfill surgery, hospital, pathology, treatment, floating and reception shifts.

This is a hands-on nursing role; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consults, do basic pathology such as faecal egg counts and love all things nursing

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree would be amazing but hands on nursing experience is also welcome.
  • Well-rounded nursing skills and experience with reception duties
  • Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic.
