What You'll Be DoingHair Services

• Perform precision cuts, colouring (balayage, highlights, ombré), and styling for all hair types
• Apply chemical treatments, including keratin, perms, and relaxers, safely and effectively
• Recommend and apply hair products suited to client needs

Creativity & Trends

• Stay current with hair and fashion trends to offer modern, tailored styles
• Adapt techniques to suit client preferences, hair type, and lifestyle

Client Experience

• Provide exceptional customer service with attentive listening and clear communication
• Build lasting client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits
• Create a welcoming, comfortable, and enjoyable salon experience

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth salon operations and consistent client care
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and collaborative team environment

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain clean workstations, tools, and equipment
• Follow strict health and safety standards at all times

Time Management

• Manage appointments efficiently to provide timely service
• Respect clients' schedules by being punctual and prepared

Product & Service Knowledge

• Recommend salon products to clients for at-home care
• Promote services to support business growth and client satisfaction

Professional Conduct

• Maintain a professional appearance and follow salon dress code
• Handle all client interactions with discretion and professionalism

Tools You'll Be Using

• Fresha – for managing appointments and client records
• Payroller – for logging hours and payroll processing

What We're Looking ForIntermediate-Level (2–5 Years)

• Solid foundation in cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
• Experience working with diverse hair types and client preferences
• Knowledge of salon products and effective application
• Understanding of salon operations and customer service

Advanced-Level (5+ Years)

• Advanced skills in creative cutting, colour correction, and chemical treatments
• Ability to create customised styles based on trends and individual client needs
• Established client base with strong retention skills
• Leadership experience, mentoring junior stylists
• Knowledge of salon operations, retail sales, and inventory management
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Specialised Expertise (Preferred)

• Experience in bridal, fashion/editorial styling, or advanced colouring
• Certification or training in treatments like keratin, extensions, or scalp therapy
• Portfolio showcasing technical skill and creativity
• Proven ability to maintain long-term client relationships
