Your new role:
As Project Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Capital Delivery team in the management of major infrastructure replacement projects across Metro South Health facilities. This position provides project management support to ensure successful delivery of capital works, contributing to the safety, functionality, and sustainability of health services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital infrastructure projects
- Preparing reports, project briefs, and maintaining accurate project documentation
- Supporting stakeholder engagement, consultation, and reporting activities
- Coordinating contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Monitoring risks, timelines, and deliverables to achieve successful outcomes
- Contributing to site inspections, quality assurance, and workplace health and safety compliance
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented project professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment. You will bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in project management or infrastructure delivery roles
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
- Knowledge of WH&S requirements and commitment to safe project delivery
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites within Metro South Health
