Panel Shop Receptionist

This role is a vital part of our operations, combining customer service, administrative duties, and operational support to ensure our workshop runs smoothly and clients receive outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner;
• Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries efficiently;
• Provide updates to customers on the status of their vehicle repairs;
• Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle collections and drop-offs.

Administrative Support

• Manage incoming and outgoing communications;
• Maintain accurate customer records and booking schedules;
• Assist with daily administrative tasks to support the team.

Operational Support

• Support the workshop team with scheduling and logistics;
• Order parts and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery;
• Conduct follow-ups with customers to confirm satisfaction and manage outstanding tasks.

Communication

• Ensure timely, clear, and professional communication with customers and team members;
• Maintain a helpful and approachable attitude, even during busy periods.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• Strong organisation and multitasking abilities;
• Previous experience in a panel shop or automotive environment (highly regarded but not essential);
• Competence with computer systems and administrative software;
• Intermediate proficiency in computer systems including MS Office suite required;
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Australian work rights are essential for this position.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
