
Director of EV Partnerships

Are you passionate about innovation and the EV market in ANZ?
My client has firmly established itself as a key player in the Australia/ NZ EV market. They are searching for a suitable candidate that will ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of the evolving EV landscape.
This role will essentially be responsible for strategic partnership (new and existing) relationship management as well as internally, with domestic and global stakeholders.
Responsibilities;
- Identify new partnership opportunities
- Ensure new partners are onboarded and embedded professionally and thoroughly
- Day-to-day leadership of the partnerships team, by implementing strategic initiatives to deliver business benefits to customers and ensuring the commercial viability of all partnerships
- Project management; including administrative processes such as vendor selection processes, spend approvals and management of purchase orders
- Ownership of the EV business unit strategy roadmap and vision
- Act as the EV Portfolio evangelist and brand ambassador for internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to innovate and challenge current norms to drive change in the organisation and work with people of varying backgrounds and organisational levels
- Previous interest in driving sustainability outcomes in a business environment
- Working with necessary teams to ensure a framework suited to an integrated customer communication approach
- Managing financial target delivery as agreed with senior leadership
- Provide operating solutions to support the business day to day operations and growth objectives
- Use advanced change management techniques to ensure business change is eagerly adopted as BAU
- Identify and help define roadmaps, growth opportunities or initiatives
- Maximise business value through prioritising selected projects, in line with commercial outcomes
- Provide project management oversight and administration to deliver projects on time, to budget and aligned to organisations values
- Proven experience in driving business and process improvement through oversight of the business unit requirements pipeline
Experience;
- Experience in market / customer facing role with a strong commercial acumen (incl the ability to write business cases) and understanding of solutions marketing and business development
- Proven understanding of product/solutions business, support structures and processes, Sales cycles, pipeline management, business reporting, negotiation skills
- Building team vision, purpose and engagement
