Our client is seeking a Content and Communications Lead to take ownership of brand voice, messaging, and content direction across all channels. This pivotal role ensures high quality, audience focused communications that strengthen reputation, drive community engagement and support the business.

About The Role
As the Content and Communications Lead, you will:
- Lead the development of brand tone of voice, messaging pillars, and storytelling direction.
- Write and edit compelling longform content for publications, speeches, digital platforms, and campaigns.
- Guide and refine staff-contributed content to align with brand voice and organisational priorities.
- Oversee creative direction, working closely with designers to ensure visual and written alignment.
- Manage content production workflows to ensure clear task allocation, project visibility, and timely delivery.
- Contribute to campaign content planning and execution in collaboration with the Communications Director.
- Develop media releases, speeches, and statements to support media engagement and reputation building.
- Provide editorial oversight for publications, major events, and key community communications.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven expertise in longform copywriting and editorial planning across print and digital channels.
- Strong ability to shape strategic content direction, messaging, and storytelling.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail and audience engagement.
- Experience managing content production workflows across multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to support and guide colleagues in content development.
- Strong project and time management skills with the flexibility to meet deadlines and event requirements.
- Experience in communications, journalism, PR, or a related field.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
