Building Restoration Site Supervisor

Perth Render Restorations is seeking a Site Supervisor to join our young, enthusiastic team.
As our full-time Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating construction activities on our residential restoration projects.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, communication, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Our typical job is a 15 year old 2 story home that requires surface cleaning, scaffolding, render repair, re-coating and re-painting.
Your job will be to perform a pre-start with the Homeowner, notify them throughout the job of progress, schedule and organise trades to complete the job.
You will be expected to manage and supervise the exterior restoration of 5-6 homes per month. At any 1 time, you will likely be managing 5-10 sites.
You will be in charge of managing/liaising with 4-5 full time workers and 1 painting sub contractor on a daily basis. You will also be communicating with clients via WhatsApp to inform them of progress.
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinate the work of exterior restorations, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
Provide on-site guidance and support to construction workers, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
Manage the schedule of 4 Full time employees and 2 Painting Sub-contractors.
What typical day looks like:
Visiting site at 7.30 to inspect work, meet a trade or organise a "Pre-start Meeting" or visiting a job to inspect.
Arriving at the office around 9.00 to manage the work schedule, update clients, and touch base with trades. Finishing the day by checking on sites. Expect to be onsite and in the office 50/50. Have the following days work schedule competed by 5.30pm.
Weekly meeting with Management and Salesmen. Bi-weekly team bbq with all staff.
This role is for you if you:
- Have strong experience/knowledge and an eye for detail in residential render and paint coatings.
- Can manage day-to-day site operations, scheduling, and multiple trades across multiple sites.
- Handle last-minute changes well.
- Enjoy meeting new people and communicating with homeowners.

What we're looking for
- Substantial experience (3+ years) as a Residential Construction Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the WA construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential render, paint and scaffolding.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate construction teams in a positive manner.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- The ability to remain calm, focussed and problem solve under pressure.
