About the Role

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operator commencing ASAP ($35/hour or $32 /hour for a Junior Operator) for Temp to Permanent Role.

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the successful applicant will be required to pick and pack goods for customer orders, restock goods in the warehouse and maintain product knowledge.  You will be required to operate forklifts (including reach truck) and be physically fit as this role does include some heavy lifting.

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

The duties will involve but not limited to:

  • Pick and Pack Customer Orders
  • Restock goods onto picking bays
  • Use of an RF Gun for Barcode Scanning
  • Operating Wall Saws and metal guillotine
  • Unloading Containers
  • Putting away goods into pallet racking
  • All other duties instructed by the Leading Hand or Managing Director

To be considered for this role, you MUST have

  • A good attitude and willingness to learn
  • A team player approach with strong communication skills
  • Forklift & high reach experience (with a current Forklift licence)
  • The willingness to work with manual handling responsibilities
  • A reliable and punctual nature
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Previous experience operating Wall Saws and metal guillotine would be ideal however not essential
