Role Description

This is a part-time, sub-contractor on-site role for a Speech Pathologist located in Bundoora, VIC. The Speech Pathologist will conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and provide intervention for individuals with communication, speech, language, and swallowing difficulties. Other responsibilities include working closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and effective treatment. Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate documentation will also be integral to the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Speech Therapy and addressing challenges related to Speech and Dysphagia
  • experience working with neuro divergent individuals
  • Experience and knowledge in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster productive relationships with clients, families, and team members
  • Ability to develop tailored therapy plans for diverse client needs
  • Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for professional registration
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
  • Commitment to professional development and staying updated on best practices
