Personal Care Worker- Full time- Part time-Positions

We have exciting opportunities for experienced Personal Care Workers/Assistance in nursing to join our dynamic team. Greenwich Place is a new boutique Aged Care residence recently opened in February.

About the Role

  • To support the Clinical Care Management Team and Registered Nurses in delivering care to meet the needs of our clients
  • To provide this care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Greenwich Place policies and procedures
  • To provide the highest quality of person-centred care to our clients
  • Assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of our clients
  • Maintaining and enhancing the dignity, integrity, rights and confidentiality of clients and their families
  • Assist the client with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers
  • Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to advocate for older people in residential care

Desired Skill & Experience

  • Certificate III (or higher) in any one of Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care and Disability OR studying a nursing degree and have completed an aged care placement (This is a requirement)
  • Previous experience working as a Personal Care Worker preferred and applicants with No working restrictions.
  • The ability to adapt to the working environment, empathetic, compassionate, resourceful and having excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Police check clearance
  • Up-to-date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice from time to time
