In this role, you will drive our risk culture transformation and establish us as the industry benchmark for governance excellence. This is a unique opportunity to shape TAL embeds risk-aware decision-making while fostering innovation and growth.
Job Description
In this role you will:
Risk Culture & Conduct
- Design and champion TAL's enterprise-wide risk culture strategy, embedding risk-aware behaviours that drive competitive advantage, establish industry-leading conduct risk frameworks that proactively protect customer outcomes and position TAL ahead of regulatory expectations, provide Board and executive leadership with strategic insights through sophisticated risk culture analytics.
Remuneration & Performance
- Embed consequence management frameworks to align performance with risk objectives and partner with Board committees to embed risk-adjusted performance measures
Financial Accountability Regime
- Embed the implementation of TAL's Accountability Framework, including reviews, scenario testing, and design capability development programs for business representatives
Risk Learning Strategy
- Lead risk learning transformation to build organisational capabilities and ensure regulatory compliance excellence. Establish TAL as a learning organisation that adapts to regulatory changes and market dynamics.
Strategic Leadership & Influence

- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business strategies
- Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups while championing accountability frameworks
- Build and lead a high-performing team, provide coaching and feedback, identify and develop high-potential talent, and demonstrate strong leadership
Qualifications
- Proven track record of driving enterprise-wide risk culture transformation in financial services
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing consequence management frameworks that deliver measurable outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to influence organisational behaviour through strategic performance and remuneration design
- Extensive experience with Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) frameworks
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience engaging Boards and Executive teams
- Strong leadership capability with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams
- Experience working across multiple business units in a large and complex organisation
