The Opportunity

We're currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team at our Altona depot.

Shift: Afternoon (3:00pm start)

Location: Altona

Employment Type: Casual (ongoing shifts available for the right candidates- Potential to full-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload PUD and interstate linehaul vehicles
  • Ensure all freight is handled according to mass management and load restraint standards
  • Verify consignments, weights, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Apply and check destination labels and DG compatibility
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in forklift operations and linehaul loading (essential)
  • Strong understanding of mass management and load restraint principles
  • Ability to follow WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Familiarity with handheld scanning equipment
  • Dangerous goods knowledge (advantageous)
  • A proactive, reliable, and safety-first attitude
