Forklift Operator

Shipping Container forklift operator. Current and valid LF high risk license required.

Working mostly Monday to Friday 6.30am start with a 4pm or 5pm finish on a rotating roster. Overtime is available with this position.

**Typical Duties**:
Ø To load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner using Forklift Mounted Terminals (FMT)

Ø To communicate with container control, workshop and surveyors as required

Ø Liaise with Depot/Operations manager to ensure workshop, wash bay, survey pad and pre-trip are changed regularly.

Ø Locate and make accessible; off-hires, sale, long-stay or any other boxes required by the customer.

Ø Complete Pre-operational forklift check sheets.

Ø Other Duties as may be required from time to time by Operations Manager / Depot Manager

**Salary**: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- LF Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Altona, VIC 3018 (required)
