About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator specialising in HVAC ductwork to join our growing team based in Dandenong South. You'll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, fabricating and assembling high-quality ductwork and components for installation across Melbourne Metro.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal ductwork for HVAC systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Operate guillotines, presses, rollers, and other fabrication equipment
- Perform MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and folding
- Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and quality
- Work collaboratively with installers and project teams
About You
- 5+ years' experience in sheet metal fabrication (HVAC ductwork preferred)
- Qualified or unqualified with proven trade experience
- Experience with Camduct fabrication software preferred but not essential
- Forklift licence preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team
- Driver's licence and White Card preferred
- Must have current Australian work rights
