Project Construction Coordinator — Phosphate Hill

The Role
Reporting to the Projects Delivery Lead, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient planning, coordination, and execution of project construction activities across our Phosphate Hill site. You will lead construction supervision teams, collaborate across site operations, and manage multiple contractors to deliver capital works safely, on-time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project supervision teams and coordinate construction execution planning.
- Sequence and schedule project work fronts to optimise safety and production continuity.
- Manage contractor resources and ensure compliance with site standards and permitting processes.
- Support project cost estimates, workpacks and pre-execution risk assessments.
- Directly supervise capital projects when required.
- Drive quality assurance, safety performance, and continuous improvement across project execution.
What You'll Bring
- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating construction or maintenance activities within mining, processing plants, or oil & gas environments.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource planning and safe work methods.
- Prior leadership experience managing supervisors and contractor teams.
- Relevant Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification.
- Permit to Work, QMS 1/2/3, and strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to operate safely within an operational plant environment.

The Site — Phosphate Hill
Northern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland. The facilities comprise of ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.
