About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design, build scalable data solutions on AWS. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data availability, integrity, and performance across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, etc.).
- Develop ETL processes for structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval using Amazon S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Integrate Amazon SageMaker into data workflows to enable machine learning model training and deployment.
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (Sagemaker, Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, EMR).
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and streaming frameworks (Kinesis, Kafka).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with machine learning pipelines and data lake architectures.
- Background in agile development methodologies.
