Our role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic first or second-year law student to join our Brisbane office on a casual basis. The successful candidate will begin in our Commercial Property team, before transitioning into our administrative assistant team, supporting various practice areas based on their needs.

In this fast-paced and varied role, you'll take on a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing legal secretarial support as needed
  • Preparing and processing monthly and ad hoc billing
  • Opening new client files
  • Drafting and sending correspondence to clients and third parties
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assisting with Reception or Office Services duties, including court filing and e-lodgements
  • Performing general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, photocopying, printing, and archiving
  • Supporting with other ad hoc administrative duties as required

This casual role offers flexibility to balance your university commitments while gaining valuable practical experience and working alongside legal professionals.

We're ideally looking for someone available to work three days per week, with Tuesdays and Fridays required through to the end of the year.
