Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care, ensuring medication safety and optimal medication management
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and the pharmacy department to provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services across the organisation
• Actively participate in ongoing education and training
• Participate and lead quality improvement activities and projects
• Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
• Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
• Participate in a weekend and on call roster

Qualifications/experience required:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Pharmacist
• Completion of post graduate certificate (minimum) in clinical pharmacy, pharmacy practice and other relevant credentialing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

• Prior experience in supervision of intern pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmacy technicians
• Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting, credentialed or desire to obtain credentialing
• Prior experience in delivery of education to health professionals and patients
