Integrated Talent is the leading technical talent management solutions provider to the Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial OEM sector in Victoria. We currently have multiple roles across Melbourne to work with our blue-chip Rail clients across major repair and maintenance workshop projects.
We are immediately recruiting for the following role(s):
- Trade qualified - Spray Painter (spray booth)
To be considered for these roles, you must possess the following:
- Industrial Spray painting and paint booth experience (ideally within automotive OR Truck industry).
- Certificate III – Automotive Refinishing Technology – (ideal)
- O/S Trade qualification and experience (is acceptable)
- Heavy automotive and or heavy industry Paint-shop experience with a strong mechanical understanding
- LOCAL Experience directly from or previous experience within Industrial / manufacturing / Spar Painting environment (is Ideal)
- Must be able to take instruction and follow / read schematics or detailed plans
- Possess fluent and comprehensive communication skills – written and verbal (essential)
- Excellent paint finishings skills including paint thickness and application
- You will be doing various duties from full preparation, Painting, Sanding and Masking off.
- Repair work that will involve colour matching and mixing Paints.
- New and maintenance repair work that will involve working from Build Specifications Applying primer and finishing coats
Must have the ability to:
- The ability to work unsupervised and or autonomously (advantageous)
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Spray Booth painting from other heavy industry manufacturing industries may also be considered.
- Drivers License / reliable vehicle
- Undertake National Police check and Employment medical including drug screening
