Join the City of Melville as a Business Support Officer and play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support across the organisation. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, support a wide range of internal teams, and contribute to improving systems and processes that enhance service delivery. Multiple positions are available with flexible work options, including full-time, part-time, and casual roles.

Salary:$63, $76,717.21 pro-rata p.a. + 12% Super
Employment Type:Full-Time Fixed Term, Part-Time Fixed Term, Casual
What You'll Be Doing
· Providing efficient administrative and business support across various service areas
· Preparing documents, reports, agendas, and meeting minutes
· Managing correspondence and responding to enquiries
· Updating and maintaining records, databases, and filing systems
· Coordinating bookings for meetings, training, and travel, including catering
· Supporting internal teams and liaising with external stakeholders
· Assisting with customer service and front-line support as required
· Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance
· Using corporate systems including Microsoft Office and internal databases
· Supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring other team members
What We're Looking For
· Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent (or working towards it)
· Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn corporate systems
· Great organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· A proactive, adaptable approach to changing priorities
· Experience with recordkeeping and data entry
· Knowledge of local government or ERP systems (desirable but not essential)
· A commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused service
