We're looking for an enthusiastic go-getter to join our team, working both in the field (as a Surveyor's Assistant) and in the office (as a Draftsperson). You'll get full, paid, on-the-job training in both areas — no degree or prior experience required.

Role Overview:

  • Full-time position/s available as a Surveyor's Assistant (field) &/or Draftsperson (office).
  • Opportunity for career advancement if you excel in either role.
  • Full in-house training provided (learn on the job).
  • Work hours are 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Our office is located in South Brisbane please note: there is no work from home option.
  • Previous experience as a labourer is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience in drafting is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities for Surveyor's Assistant:

  • Assisting with Contour & Detail Surveys and House Set-Outs.
  • Loading and unloading the work ute.
  • Setting up and packing down survey equipment.
  • Assisting with recording digital data.
  • Taking site photos.
  • Drawing simple site sketches.
  • Hammering timber pegs/stakes into the ground with a 5-7kg sledgehammer (anywhere from 20 to 100 pegs per day).

Key Responsibilities for Draftsperson:

  • Computer Drafting of Contour & Detail Survey Plans.
  • Programs used: MAGNET and AutoCAD.
