About The Roles / Responsibilities:

Retail Assistant - Cashier & Merchandiser

• Operation of the POS system
• Customer service and assistance
• Greeting, acknowledging and actively engaging every customer
• Merchandise and aid in the maintenance of floor stock levels
• Maintain an awareness of promotions and specials.
• Support the team and contribute to building a collaborative, enjoyable work environment

Retail Assistant - Pallet Runner

• Distribute pallets around warehouse and shop via pallet jack
• Stack and unstack pallets by hand
• Greeting, acknowledging and actively engaging every customer
• Merchandise and aid in the maintenance of floor stock levels
• Maintain an awareness of promotions and specials.
• Support the team and contribute to building a collaborative, enjoyable work environment

About You:

Skills & Experience:

• Must have experience using POS System (Retail Assistant – Cashier & Merchandiser only)
• Experience working in Retail, Customer Service
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
• Thrives in a fast paced, team environment and demonstrates a high level of confidence, enthusiasm and energy
• Strong commitment and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to work efficiently and within timelines
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership when and as required

Flexibility to work a number of shifts each week, including a weekend shift, is required.

Pay rate is dependent on age and is paid in line with the General Retail Award
