About The Roles / Responsibilities:
Retail Assistant - Cashier & Merchandiser
- Operation of the POS system
- Customer service and assistance
- Greeting, acknowledging and actively engaging every customer
- Merchandise and aid in the maintenance of floor stock levels
- Maintain an awareness of promotions and specials.
- Support the team and contribute to building a collaborative, enjoyable work environment
Retail Assistant - Pallet Runner
- Distribute pallets around warehouse and shop via pallet jack
- Stack and unstack pallets by hand
- Greeting, acknowledging and actively engaging every customer
- Merchandise and aid in the maintenance of floor stock levels
- Maintain an awareness of promotions and specials.
- Support the team and contribute to building a collaborative, enjoyable work environment
About You:

Skills & Experience:
- Must have experience using POS System (Retail Assistant – Cashier & Merchandiser only)
- Experience working in Retail, Customer Service
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift, move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
- Thrives in a fast paced, team environment and demonstrates a high level of confidence, enthusiasm and energy
- Strong commitment and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to work efficiently and within timelines
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership when and as required
Flexibility to work a number of shifts each week, including a weekend shift, is required.
Pay rate is dependent on age and is paid in line with the General Retail Award
