About Us

We are a family-owned and operated Montessori Long Daycare Centre located in Burpengary, Queensland. Our purpose-built facility, established in August 2022, is dedicated to nurturing children's development through the Montessori philosophy. We cater to children aged 6 months to school age across our Nido, Infant, and Children's House communities.

Our Centre fosters a supportive, collaborative work environment and operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and a two-week closure over Christmas/New Year.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Educators to join our Children's House (2.5 to 5-year-olds) team in permanent part-time roles. These positions require availability Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm (set rostered shifts).

About You

We want educators who see early childhood education as a calling, not just a job. Educators who genuinely want to work with children, nurture their development, and build meaningful connections with families and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in the early childhood education sector
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or at least commenced Cert III and considered actively working towards)
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)
  • Ability to work 5 days a week within our operating hours (set rostered shifts)

  • Genuine passion for children's learning and wellbeing

  • Montessori knowledge or experience (preferred but not essential as you will be provided on-the-job Montessori pedagogy training)

Responsibilities

  • Working in our Children's House environments with children aged 2.5 to 5 years
  • Supporting children's independence, concentration, and love of learning through a carefully prepared environment
  • Building respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, and the team
  • Actively engaging with and supervising children during both indoor and outdoor programs
  • Supporting programs and experiences in line with the Montessori philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space
