School Psychologist

Join one of Tasmania's leading independent schools and play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and development of young people from Kindergarten to Year 12.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologistto provide high-quality psychological services that enhance the emotional, social, and academic wellbeing of our students. Working collaboratively with staff and families, you will deliver counselling, lead wellbeing programs, and provide expert advice in managing mental health and student care.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide individual counselling and psychological support to students
  • Design and implement wellbeing and resilience programs
  • Collaborate with staff and families to support student development
  • Manage referrals, assessments, and external agency coordination
  • Contribute to the school's wellbeing strategy and pastoral care initiatives

About You:

  • Registered Psychologist with AHPRA and eligible for APS membership
  • Experience working with children and adolescents (K–12 setting desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills
  • Committed to professional ethics, student wellbeing, and collaborative practice
