Instead of being confined to a narrow engineering function, you'll take a lead role across planning, cost control, subcontractor management and delivery strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee engineering delivery across multi-disciplinary civil works, ensuring all phases meet safety, quality and specification requirements.
  • Take ownership of cost control, forecasting, financial reporting and risk identification.
  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly and overall project programs with a strong focus on construction sequencing.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance and problem-solving support to supervisors, engineers and site teams.
  • Lead procurement activities and manage key subcontractors, including claims, variations and commercial correspondence.
  • Drive quality assurance processes, documentation, inspections and handover requirements.
  • Prepare detailed 4-week lookaheads to keep delivery aligned with program targets.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong, capable delivery team.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally with Senior PE responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of civil, structural and services drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability in project financials, forecasting and subcontractor cost management.
  • Skilled in scheduling, planning and construction sequencing.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and effective risk management.
  • A proactive leader who takes ownership, communicates clearly and drives outcomes.
