For three generations the Taylor family have crafted great Australian wines in the Clare Valley, South Australia.

The Role

Reporting to the QLD Sales Manager this role will be responsible for driving new business sales through the independents channel. The territory covers from Mackay down to Maryborough then west through Emerald and Moranbah, it and services both on and off premise sites meaning there are near boundless opportunities to grow the territory while managing existing relationships. Due to the size of the territory there is approximately 8-10 overnights required per month depending on where the successful person is located.

Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Generating and following up on sales leads
  • Servicing existing customers
  • Educating customers on the Taylor's Wines offering

About You

Primarily you will be a driven, enthusiastic sales person with a proven track record in creation of new business, expanding existing accounts and creating meaningful relationships with your clients. Experience in the Drinks/FMCG industry is an advantage however we are open to people with solid sales experience who are open to a new industry.

On your first day you will ideally have:

  • At least two years experience in a sales environment
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • High levels of motivation, results driven and team orientated
  • First rate account management skills and customer relationships
  • Valid drivers license
