IT Support

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Officer to provide first-line support across our healthcare operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and committed to ensuring smooth IT operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

About the Role

As an IT Support Officer, you will support the daily IT needs of our healthcare staff by managing and maintaining desktops, networks, clinical systems, and associated infrastructure. You will assist in troubleshooting technical issues and help ensure that all systems comply with privacy and data security standards relevant to the Australian healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of computers, servers, and network equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues onsite and remotely
• Support clinical software such as Best Practice, MedicalDirector, or Genie
• Maintain user access, backups, antivirus, and security compliance
• Document support activities and maintain IT asset records
• Liaise with vendors and escalate issues when required

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in a healthcare IT environment preferred but not essential
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and networking basics
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset
• Understanding of data privacy, security, and healthcare IT standards in Australia
