Role: General Practitioner (GP)

Location: Redland Bay, QLD, Australia

We are seeking a dedicated GP to join our supportive and friendly team.

Redland Bay Surgery is a well-established (30 years), doctor-owned practice, in beautiful bayside Brisbane. We are AGPAL accredited general practice ensuring high standards. Redland Bay is located 40 minutes from Brisbane CBD and only 45 minutes to the Gold Coast. The practice itself, is part of Redland Bay Village and opposite a recently built supermarket/shopping centre and only a short stroll to the water.

The local population is growing rapidly as exemplified by the continuing development of the Shoreline Estate and a new, dedicated primary school. In October 2023 a satellite hospital opened in Redland Bay less than 1.2km away from the practice to provide a service to mainland residents as well as those from the Bay Islands.

Redland Bay Surgery is a modern, well-equipped, beautifully maintained practice. There are two treatment rooms, five spacious consulting rooms all with natural light, as well as a staff lunch room.

Our GPs are supported by three experienced RNs; four reception staff; on-site pathology; visiting allied health professionals and a long-standing relationship (30 years) with the local pharmacy. We utilise BP software for efficient and stream-lined operations as well as HotDoc for online bookings

Current doctors are working at capacity with an expected wait time for a standard appointment of two weeks. There is high patient demand and an already established patient base to take over from day one. The practice utilises a mixed-billing model ensuring a steady flow of patients and high earning potential. We offer a three month income guarantee period of $200/ hour (if seeing 5 patients per hour) and a 70% billing structure.

We support work-life balance with flexibility for you to choose your days/hours of work and we can accommodate a full-time or part-time role and although a long term GP is preferred we would consider a locum.
