About the role

Spire Landscapes Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Landscape Construction Apprentice to join our team. As an Apprentice, you will be responsible for contributing to the construction of high-quality residential landscaping projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. This full-time role is based the in Sydney's North Shore area and offers the opportunity to develop practical skills and knowledge in the landscaping industry whilst gaining your trade qualifications.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the installation and construction of various landscape features such as gardens, lawns, paths, and retaining walls
  2. Performing general landscaping duties like planting and mulching.
  3. Operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  4. Participating in site clean-up and waste management activities
  5. Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures
  6. Completing on-the-job training and a Certificate III in Landscape Contruction.

What we're looking for

  1. A keen interest and desire to pursue a career in the landscaping industry
  2. Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  3. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  4. Effective communication and teamwork skills
  5. A willingness to learn and follow instructions
  6. A valid driver's licence and own car is preferred
