We are looking for a career Experienced Pharmacy Assistant who wants to expand their knowledge in Community Pharmacy and work closely within a supportive team.

What does a Pharmacy Assistant do?

Our Pharmacy Assistants are often the first port of call when customers come into a TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy. At TerryWhite Chemmart, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest level of service in all aspects of our pharmacies, and our Pharmacy Assistants act as shining examples of this philosophy. Therefore current Pharmacy experience is Essential

The successful applicant must have the following:

  • Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy.
  • Excellent knowledge of Pharmacy products.
  • 3 to 5 years current experience in a community pharmacy
  • Detail-oriented and a confident multitasker
  • Proactive, sales-driven attitude
  • Experience in Fred POS and Fred office.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Dedicated and committed to work.
  • Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales targets and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Be reliable, self-motivated and have initiative to take on and complete tasks as required.

Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Maintain the presentation of the store and service areas
  • Assisting the retail manger and pharmacist with daily tasks
  • Attending to customer requests and enquiries
  • Processing sales through the till
  • Accept prescriptions to be processed
